Remake Policy.
To help make our remake policy more transparent we have listed below our remake policy.
There will be a 100% charge on all cases that have to be remade due to insufficient information for example, no stump shade provided, wrong shade provided, wrong information on prescription etc.
If the original crown and models are not returned with the new impression there will be a 100% charge on all cases that have to be remade off a new impression. If the original crown and models are returned the remake charge will be determined using the following protocols, if the crown fits and all quality control points are met on original model. The die based off original impression, there will be a charge to remake on new impression.
There will be a 100% charge on all cases if we have informed your office prior to commencing work on the case of an issue that needs to be corrected and no action was taken by the office, and we were told to proceed. For example, new impression needed, new bite needed, and the request wasn’t fulfilled.
If we receive a “remake” case back and the doctor has re-prepped the case or altered the case in any way, we offer a 50% discount as a show of goodwill.
There will be a 100% charge on all cases if the crown is lost by the office. We stand behind our work and for any other reason than stated above all work is covered under our warranty. Please see our warranty policy for more information ** At Lucent we believe in being fair and honest about the work we do. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis before making a determination of the remake charge.
